In this all sky view (fulldome) from Observatorio del Teide (IAC) near the peak of Mount Teide on Tenerife, Canary Islands, there is more than a starry sky. A part of the zodiacal light at 180 degrees away from the sun, known as Gegenschein (counterglow) faintly appears next to bright planet Jupiter Green and red airglow (natural emission from the Earth upper atmosphere) are also evident. Click the constellation icon above the image for the labels. Juan Carlos Casado, Starryearth.com
