This time-exposure image has captured the motion of stars (due to the Earth rotation) in a moonlit winter night of Mount Damavand, the highest volcano in Asia, rising to an altitude of 5670 meters, located in the Alborz Mountains of Iran close to the capital Tehran. The spectacular volcano has been dormant for many thousands of years. Amir Abolfath -
