Above lights of suburb Innsbruck in the Austrian Alps, a meteor streaks the sky next to the stars of Orion's Belt during the Geminid Meteor shower in mid-December. The red fan-shaped cloud, rising over the mountains, is the Great Orion Nebula (also known as M42).
