Our galactic neighbors the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds appear at left and the southern Milky Way in the constellations Crux (the Southern Cross) and Centaurus stand on the right of this image. The foreground of this single exposure photo is the Siding Spring Observatory near Coonabarabran, Australia. The observatory includes the famous 3.9 meters Anglo-Australian Telescope which is inside the dome shown in this image. The observatory is situated on Mount Woorat also known as Siding Spring Mountain in the Warrumbungle National Park. There are currently a dozen telescopes on this site. Kwon, O Chul -
