A time-exposure black & white image has captured the motion of stars (due to the Earth rotation) in a moonlit winter night of Mount Damavand, the highest volcano in Asia, rising to an altitude of 5610 meters. Located in the Alborz Mountain Range of Iran close to the capital Tehran, the spectacular volcano is considered alive although it has been dormant for many thousands of years.
