Stars appear above the misty dreaming view of Himalayas in the World Heritage Sagarmatha National Park of Nepal. On the left edge Lhotse, the world's 4th highest mountain at 8516m, is visible. Ama Dablam (6812m) with its outstanding shape is to its right. Note the V figure of constellation Taurus, the Bull, above Am Dablam. A bit higher is the Seven Sister star cluster or the Pleiades. Another notable cluster in this view is the Double Star Cluster in Perseus visible at the upper left corner. Sagarmatha National Park contains a magnificent part of Himalayas and the southern half of Mount Everest. In fact the park varies in altitude from lowest point of 2845 m to 8850 m at the summit of Everest. Sagarmatha is a Sanskrit word, from sagar = "sky" and māthā = "head". Babak Tafreshi/Dreamview.net
