A lot of things is going on in this 30-second exposure image. The young Moon is setting in the early evening sky over the western horizon of Dizin peak (3400 m) in Alborz Mountains of Iran. The dazzling planet Venus is just above it and between the two a bright meteor streaks the sky. Align the ecliptic tow other planets, Mars and Saturn, are visible in the view toward the upper right, where the International Space Station is crossing the sky. Its a rare occasion to have all these in a short moment. Click on the constellation icon above the image to see the labels. Babak Tafreshi/
