Time-lapse video: Watch how this deep sky object known as the North America Nebula fades in the horizon light pollution and sets behind the mountains while the photographer's camera tracked the object down to horizon. While it is barely visible to unaided eye (under dark skies) as a faint color-less patch of light near bright star Deneb in Cygnus, the North America Nebula is a spectacular and colorful object in long exposure for astophotos. The purple red emission nebula is about 2000 light years away and spans 3 degrees in the sky, which means over 6 times the apparent diameter of the Moon. Amir Abolfath - Torgheh.ir/en
