All-Sky View above Germany By: Stefan Seip |
Region: Europe Date: 2010 April 6 | |||
|
In this clear spring evening from Welzheim near Stuttgart, Germany, TWAN photographer made a single 20-second exposure using an 8mm fisheye lens to capture this all-sky view in a timely moment when there are 4 planets visible in the sky along the ecliptic. Mercury and Venus are very close to the western horizon just before they set, while Mars and Saturn are in the south and west. Click on the constellation icon above the image to find the planets and see the constellation labels. Stefan Seip/Astromeeting.de
