Far from any source of light, the sky is amazingly dark in a clear night on the deck of an ocean-crossing ship. Here in a clear night from the middle of the Pacific Ocean, a couple enjoys the beauty of the Milky Way on front deck of the Costa Classica cruise ship. As noted by the photographer "On a moving ship it was difficult to make a sharp image of stars with a long exposure needed for Milky Way.
