Full Moon Sky

Site: Brittany - France

Date: February 2010

Sky photography during a Full Moon night often results in strong illumination like day-light with blue sky nearly empty of stars. In this all-sky view of the beautiful Huelgoat village in Brittany of France, there are still several bright winter stars visible near the center of the image. The full moon brightness is over 10 times more than a quarter moon (50% phase)and several hundred times brighter than a crescent moon. Laurent Laveder/
