The North Star or Polaris, is the alpha star of constellation Ursa Minor (the Little Bear) which is captured on the left side of this image. Polaris is the brightest star near the top, while stars of the Ursa Major (Big Bear) rise on the right side of this lake view from Yunnan province of China. P.K. Chen
