The Milky Way is stretched above the castle of Monfrague in the province of Caceres, southwest of Spain. Located in the Monfrague National Park (a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve), the castle has Arabic origin and dates from 12th century. Some prominent objects in the sky of late summer and autumn can be seen as the Andromeda Galaxy (M31), M33, the Double Star Cluster, and Pleiades as well some bright red emission nebulae.
