In a late summer evening, the crescent Moon appears above the historic town of Safranbolu in Turkey. The World Heritage Site is located in the Black Sea region in northern Turkey. The town preserves many old buildings and ancient settlements. Its name derives from saffron, since Safranbolu was a trading place and a center for growing saffron. Tunc Tezel
