The seasonal change of the sky and landscape is captured in this one-year photo series from a small lake in Turkey. As noted by the photographer "I took many night-time photos from this little lake near Bolu that several of the photos have appeared in magazines and one was Astronomy Picture of the Day on 2007 April 14. In fact, I named the place "Lake Venus", for the reason of that picture. During one complete year, I took four fisheye photos of the lake and the northern sky above it. The first one in autumn is made on October 21st of 2007 around midnight, while I was fishing for Orionids meteors. I took the winter picture in the evening of the following January 10th when the lake was frozen solid and covered with additional 20 cm of snow. Spring image is from the evening of April 30th. The trees had fresh, light green leaves. And the Summer edition is made in the evening of September 2nd." Tunc Tezel
