Stars of northern hemisphere autumn and winter nights are lined above the light house in Pointe du Raz, an extension of Brittany into the Atlantic Ocean at the western tip of France. On the other side of this "horizon to horizon" panorama spring stars of Leo and Cancer are rising from the eastern horizon, dominated by the light pollution from inland France.
