Polaris and the constellation Ursa Minor (Little Dipper) highlight the northern sky above a rock formation in Plateau Creek Canyon, Colorado. Note that the brighter stars in this scene are accentuated by the use of a specialized camera filter. Note also that, as this time-lapse video progresses, you can watch the effects of dew forming on the camera's optics.
