From the photographer: "At about 8000ft, Roque de los Muchachos ("Rock of the Boys") is the highest point on the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands, Spain. I liked the name of this place and the rock structures, took me back to places we would play as a kid, almost expecting Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer to walk around the bend here. The two bright stars are Saturn to the left and to the right, Messier 22 (also known as M22 or NGC 6656) a bright globular cluster in the constellation Sagittarius, near the galactic core region. Eagle and Omega Nebulae can be resolved with the slight pink hues in the dark lanes just above the rocks."
Technical details: Stacked exposure. 9 images stacked to reduce noise. Each image ISO 8000, 55mm, f/2.5, 6 second shutter speed. Camera: Sony A7SII
