From the photographer: "A bright Geminid meteor streaked in the sky just next to the Orion constellation in a moonlit night at Lut desert. Lut desert is a natural UNESCO World Heritage site near Kerman, Iran. The moonlight cast the shadows in the ground which creates a nice contrast in the image."
Technical details: Single-exposure image, Modified Canon EOS 6D, Sigma 24mm f/1.4@f/2.2, 10s, ISO 4000
