Starry Night of the Castle

From the photographer: "Bright stars of winter rise over a historical castle in the middle of the desert; A beautiful scene in a calm night at the last days of fall. The Karshahi castle is the biggest adobe monument of Iran. Green airglow activity is visible in the image. A meteor smoke streak is also visible at right. Unfortunately the meteor passed when I was busy with setting up the camera and framing."
Technical details: Panorama of 4 single exposure images. Each one captured with a Canon EOS 5D markII and a Samyang 24mm f/1.4@f/2.8 manual lens, 20s exposure, ISO4000
