From the photographer: "The Moon is setting down in this multi-expoure image behind a wind mill that once served the salt ponds of Marsala. Here the salt is still produced according to an old tradition. Sea water is collected in different ponds where it is naturally evaporated. The marine salt is crystallized and then harvested by hands of men that start their job during the night, a couple of hours before the sun rise.
