From the photographer: "The hill called Te Mata peak (by Maori language the peak of Sleeping giant) is almost 400 meters above sea level and there is a view to east and south just to Pacific ocean over the valley. If you stay after sunset, it's like a window to the universe. See this photo on Astronomy Picture of the Day website."
