From the photographer: "Dating back to the Punic and Early Roman periods, this place is believed to have been a sanctuary, perhaps a nympheum. I think this is the only spot on the islands that allows you to point the camera towards the mainland without loosing the night sky. All the area around this temple complex is weathered limestone full of fragile textures, so you need to be very careful where to step not to damage the surface. These alone are a great subject to photograph, but for now I'm after the stars. The Panorama stitches of 4 images in 1 row."
