Venus Meets the Seven Sisters

By: Herbert Raab

From the photographer: "Venus shines brightly at the edge of the Pleiades star cluster, also known as the Seven Sisters. Jupiter is visible low at the horizon, below Venus. The Hyades, a large and loose star cluster, is located near the center of this panoramic image with its notable V figure. At left, the prominent constellation Orion appears in the moonlit sky. "
