From the photographer: "This image shows the ancient site of Aquileia with Venus, Mars and Saturn in the twilight sky background. Aquileia was founded in the year -182. This was the capital of the X Regio Augustea. It was destroyed by Attila in 452 AD. Aquileia re-flourished with Cardinal Poppone after the Byzantine and Longobard occupations. Today, along with Ravenna, this place is the most important archaeological site in northern Italy." - Marco Candotti
