The Moon, Venus and Mercury over the 3rd millennium BC statue of Sphinx. The World Heritage Site of Giza Plateau at the west bank of the Nile River, near modern-day Cairo, includes three main pyramids and Sphinx The Great Sphinx statue, or The Father of Fear which is a half-human, half-lion. It is the largest monolith statue in the world and stands 73.5 meters long. As noted by the photographer and astronomy specialist of Bibliotheca Alexandrina "I used a Practica SLR camera and Kodak ISO400 film for this 1 second exposure of planetary conjunction".
