Painting the Night
From the photographer: "This image was taken at the North Window section in Arches National Park during my recent trip. My Photographer friend was not feeling good so I had to drop him back to the hotel. By the time I was back, all the clouds moved in. I was waiting for the clouds to clear and they finally did just an hour before sunrise. I have seen a lot of photos from the front side so I thought to capture a different view. I kept my camera below the Arch/Window on the other side and set it on intervalometer and climbed up the Arch. I wanted my image to appear sharp so I kept one flash light on the ground lighting up the arch and another one in my hand a little away from the arch so that it doesn't blow out the details and still make it look like I am lighting the Arch."
